I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've been going to multiple weddings and on vacation and stuff with my family, so I haven't had much time to post.

However, when I get back from this last wedding, I promise I will post my icons, Dark Knight review, and Breaking Dawn review. :D

Here's a little idea of my feelings on TDK... )

I love you. I'll wait for you. Come back. Come back to me. )

A few different things...
1. I'm so excited for The Dark Knight!!!! OMG. All this teaser stuff is driving me crazy with excitement.

2. I love Fiona Apple. Her voice is just so smooth and gorgeous. Listen to these:
Fiona Apple - O'Sailor
Fiona Apple - Tymps (The Sick in the Head Song)
Fiona Apple - Oh Well

3. I really, really, really want to see Atonement, but the dumb theaters in my area feel that it isn't important enough to grace their screens. So now I'm going to have to convince both my parents that I'm mature enough to see it and my sister or brother to drive me far away to take me. ARGGHHH. Gosh, I really want to see this movie. Maybe all the award nominations and positive reception will convince the theaters around here to show. *crosses fingers*

4. So excited for Christmas!!!! :D

5. I got a new layout. It's from [info]thefulcrum, isn't it pretty?

6. You should all see Enchanted...It was like the cutest movie ever! I loved Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, although Amy Adams did a much better job.
here's the trailer.

7. I really like Pushing Daisies. While, the main reason why I watch it is because of Ned and Chuck. I think they are on a par with Jim and Pam. That's how cute they are. If you haven't watched the show, I recommend it. It can be kinda corny sometimes, but the romance between Ned and Chuck makes it all worth it in the end.

8. I really wish the Writer's Strike would be over already. I mean, I know I'm being selfish by saying that I really want my shows back, but come on, so is everyone. I feel bad for the writers, but I really wish both sides would stop being so ARGGHH. I just want my shows. :(
Just negotiate/agree/whatever already.

Ok, I have to go babysit now. :)

Five movies that I want to see this fall... )

Btw, excellent movies I saw this summer include:
- Ratatouille (OMG BEST MOVIE OF THE SUMMER! And it made me want to eat all that food and cook as well!)
- The Bourne Ultimatum (Not quite as flawless as Ratatouille, best action flick of the summer definitely!)
- Harry Potter and the Order Phoenix (SO GOOD. I was ok with the changes they made and the stuff they cut, the amazing-ness of the movie made up for it... ;)).

Mediocre movies included:
- Transformers (I HEART SHIA LABEOUF!!!!!!!!!!! The CG in this movie was amazing, but it was too long, too cheesy, and there were TOO MANY EXPLOSIONS. I felt like I was actually there which was not how I wanted to feel or at least not to the extent that they forced me to feel...SHIA LABEOUF!!!!!!!!!! And he was wearing a Strokes T-shirtOMG!!! He was the best part of the movie. Well, the CG was pretty cool, but it got a bit boring after a while...not Shia. ;) P.S. Megan Fox had some of the most retarded lines ever!)
- No Reservations (Cute chick-flick, not anything amazing except that it made me want cook even more...)
- The Nanny Diaries (I loved the book, the movie was ok, but definitely not as good as the book.).

Oh, and I saw Waitress with Keri Russell and it was such a cute movie. And Nathan Fillion was kinda hot. This movie made me want to cook as well. :D
I will be posting lots of icons soon...I'm incredibly lazy which is why I post so infrequently.

P.S. Some of you requested PSDs of icons that I don't have PSDs of anymore...And it turns out, most of them I had just deleted! I'm so sorry...The following people requested icons that I don't have PSDs for:
[info]daciaw
[info]janeiphur
[info]rainbownights
I'm really sorry!!! If you have any icons that you want PSDs of from my last few posts, please tell me! I don't mind making them. :) Once again, I'm so sorry about this!

1. PURE BRILLIANCE PART 1.

2. PURE BRILLIANCE PART 2. I think #14 is like my favorite icon right now because it describes my life until I finish HP #7. :)

3. Everyone should watch the preview for Keira Knightley's upcoming movie, Atonement.

some thoughts about the movie and book... )

4. I'm also SO EXCITED FOR HP #7...I can't believe that it's the last one. I don't want it to be...I'm going to be like crying as soon as I finish the book. I've been rereading the whole series in preparation for the seventh book and right now I'm on the 4th one. I hope I can finish #6 in time, lol. ;) The great thing about reading these books after you know what's going to happening is that there are so many clues leading up to the final problem/mystery/whatever. I love looking for the clues while I'm reading.
I'll talk about HP #5 after I have seen it...

5. A little bit about my vacation... )

6. Finally, I have 144 icons for you. I have been making all of these since my last post and some of them I really like and some of them I really don't like. But I will post the crappy icons, in hopes that someone might actually like them. ;)

Here's the list:
[18] Atonement
[23] Emma Watson
[01] Eva Green
[24] Harry Potter (I'll have more next post!)
[35] Julian Casablancas
[14] Keira Knightley (I really don't like these icons.)
[06] Princess Leia
[03] Pirates of the Caribbean
[20] The Strokes
PREVIEWS:

This whole life is it a dream? I can't tell... )

7. You should all listen to THIS SONG.
It could quite possibly the most creative song I have ever heard. Just because I would never think of describing the world we live in with only words that end in I-Z-E.
Here are the lyrics because they are just so awesome.
Plus the song is just really good anyways.

8. I heart [info]nitaface. She was nice enough to share her musical preferences with me and upload lots of good songs for me to listen to. I really like Don't Look Back In To The Sun by the Libertines and Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs (which reminds me, I have been thinking it was Kaiser "Chefs" for the longest time until my brother pointed out to me that it was "Chiefs" not "Chefs"...do not ask me to explain the workings of my brain. LOL) Have a great time in Mexico!

9. The Strokes are really the awesomest thing. :)
If you are scared away by my current obsession for them, rest assured, for I probably won't feel the same way within two or three months. My big, big, big obsessions aren't usually permanent. If they are permanent than I am most likely not that obsessive about them. ;)

10. I have been thinking of doing requests. If you would like to either request a PSD file to an icon or some icons made by me please let me know. I will post all of the PSDs in one post and all of the icons in another.
And also, if you are requesting icons, please do not give me really low-quality pictures because they are hard to work with. I only really work with low-quality pics if I am really desperate for the picture. So medium-quality or high-quality are preferable, but if it is a desperate situation and you absolutely need an icon of that picture, I will gladly oblige. ;)
Oh, and if you have any preferences about your icons, please let me know. :)

11. Finally, I have some wallpapers to post. Well, actually only two. One is an old Grey's Anatomy one and one is a more recent Star Wars one that I made for the contest at
Padme's Wardrobe. If you are a Star Wars fan and you have the time, it would be awesome if you participated.

The Grey's Anatomy one was just made for my desktop, so it's nothing special.

I think that's all for now..........
Hope you all like the icons! And request, request, request. :)

P.S. Here are a few more icons that I made while writing out this post and uploading the icons.

P.P.S. I put up a new little info thing. Recently, I've been putting merely a 300x300 square with 9 of my icons (I've been feeling somewhat lazy recently)...I try to vary the subjects of the icons, but sometimes that can be tricky as many of my good icons may be of the same person or fandom. ;)
