So. The last time I posted icons was March 16. More than 3 months ago.
I am incredibly sorry for that. The end of the school year is always super hectic for me because I'm on the varsity tennis team for my school and then teachers give you research papers and an exceptional amount of work in order to cram everything in. It is a nightmare. However, I managed to make a few icons here and there and so I have a modest post of about 130 icons. :)

Anyways, sorry for neglecting my icon-making duties! I assure you that I will post icons much more frequently this summer. :D

These icons are a little bit weird, probably because I've been experimenting a lot. I'm not sure how I feel about a good percentage of them.

Brokeback Mountain is a beautiful movie. I feel that it deserved every bit of praise it was given. If you haven't seen it, watch it for its quality as a film, at least. And if you have problems with the gay themes, that's hardly the point or message of the movie. I watched it as two people falling in love and didn't have a problem with it. If you watch it as "the gay cowboy movie," you'll ruin it for yourself. Watch it with an open mind and you'll appreciate it.

But anyways, I made very simplistic icons of the movie because I didn't want to mess with such beautiful caps. Hence the lack of textures, text, and brushes.

Also, I hope I did Heath justice in those icons. I'm kind of glad I took my time making these. I think it would have felt a little bit too rushed and clichéd if I had posted them the day or week after his death. And also, I was still working on them because I am a slow-poke when it comes to creating icons. I miss you Heath.

A few different things...
1. I'm so excited for The Dark Knight!!!! OMG. All this teaser stuff is driving me crazy with excitement.

2. I love Fiona Apple. Her voice is just so smooth and gorgeous. Listen to these:

3. I really, really, really want to see Atonement, but the dumb theaters in my area feel that it isn't important enough to grace their screens. So now I'm going to have to convince both my parents that I'm mature enough to see it and my sister or brother to drive me far away to take me. ARGGHHH. Gosh, I really want to see this movie. Maybe all the award nominations and positive reception will convince the theaters around here to show. *crosses fingers*

5. I got a new layout. It's from thefulcrum, isn't it pretty?

6. You should all see Enchanted...It was like the cutest movie ever! I loved Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, although Amy Adams did a much better job.

7. I really like Pushing Daisies. While, the main reason why I watch it is because of Ned and Chuck. I think they are on a par with Jim and Pam. That's how cute they are. If you haven't watched the show, I recommend it. It can be kinda corny sometimes, but the romance between Ned and Chuck makes it all worth it in the end.

8. I really wish the Writer's Strike would be over already. I mean, I know I'm being selfish by saying that I really want my shows back, but come on, so is everyone. I feel bad for the writers, but I really wish both sides would stop being so ARGGHH. I just want my shows. :(
Just negotiate/agree/whatever already.

Ok, I have to go babysit now. :)

I apologize for not posting icons in like forever. I seem to do this quite often, and my only excuse is that I'm lazy and it takes me hours to make these posts.
However, I do have about 200 icons, so I have been doing stuff in PS, I just haven't posted it.

So, Wednesday was my first day of high school and 9th grade. Um, yeah. ;)
It was pretty good, I got all the teachers I wanted pretty much, and most of them know me because they had either one of my brothers or my sister. I felt like such a horrible NOOB though. It wasn't cool at all! I didn't get lost, but a few times I started to go the wrong way. But it's pretty good though. I think I will eventually enjoy it more. My best friend isn't in any of my classes, but other than that there's not anything else that's really bad. Oh, and miss my buddy Joe, who went to another school.
But anyways, I'm in all Honors classes: Biology, World Studies, Geometry, English and French 2 (which is the highest). Oh, and I'm also in Design 1/Art.
So I'm bound to have a lot more work to do and therefore less time on my computer, but I will make as many icons and update as much as I can.
