So basically I'm a slowpoke when it comes to making icons.
Anyhoo, I have like 100+ icons for you. This post is similar to the last post in that I experimented a lot and used lots of different resources.

This post includes: Heath Ledger, Angelina Jolie, Iron Man, James McAvoy, The Dark Knight, Eva Green, Quantum of Solace, Wall-E, Atonement, The Darjeeling Limited, etc.

I just watched The Diving Bell & The Butterfly, an extremely beautiful film. Go watch it. Also watch 3:10 to Yuma.
And of course, go see The Dark Knight if you haven't already seen it. Although, judging by its phenomenal numbers, I'm sure you've already seen it at least twice. ;)

Brokeback Mountain is a beautiful movie. I feel that it deserved every bit of praise it was given. If you haven't seen it, watch it for its quality as a film, at least. And if you have problems with the gay themes, that's hardly the point or message of the movie. I watched it as two people falling in love and didn't have a problem with it. If you watch it as "the gay cowboy movie," you'll ruin it for yourself. Watch it with an open mind and you'll appreciate it.

But anyways, I made very simplistic icons of the movie because I didn't want to mess with such beautiful caps. Hence the lack of textures, text, and brushes.

Also, I hope I did Heath justice in those icons. I'm kind of glad I took my time making these. I think it would have felt a little bit too rushed and clichéd if I had posted them the day or week after his death. And also, I was still working on them because I am a slow-poke when it comes to creating icons. I miss you Heath.

4. I'm also SO EXCITED FOR HP #7...I can't believe that it's the last one. I don't want it to be...I'm going to be like crying as soon as I finish the book. I've been rereading the whole series in preparation for the seventh book and right now I'm on the 4th one. I hope I can finish #6 in time, lol. ;) The great thing about reading these books after you know what's going to happening is that there are so many clues leading up to the final problem/mystery/whatever. I love looking for the clues while I'm reading.
I'll talk about HP #5 after I have seen it...

It could quite possibly the most creative song I have ever heard. Just because I would never think of describing the world we live in with only words that end in I-Z-E.

Plus the song is just really good anyways.

8. I heart nitaface. She was nice enough to share her musical preferences with me and upload lots of good songs for me to listen to. I really like Don't Look Back In To The Sun by the Libertines and Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs (which reminds me, I have been thinking it was Kaiser "Chefs" for the longest time until my brother pointed out to me that it was "Chiefs" not "Chefs"...do not ask me to explain the workings of my brain. LOL) Have a great time in Mexico!

9. The Strokes are really the awesomest thing. :)
If you are scared away by my current obsession for them, rest assured, for I probably won't feel the same way within two or three months. My big, big, big obsessions aren't usually permanent. If they are permanent than I am most likely not that obsessive about them. ;)

10. I have been thinking of doing requests. If you would like to either request a PSD file to an icon or some icons made by me please let me know. I will post all of the PSDs in one post and all of the icons in another.
And also, if you are requesting icons, please do not give me really low-quality pictures because they are hard to work with. I only really work with low-quality pics if I am really desperate for the picture. So medium-quality or high-quality are preferable, but if it is a desperate situation and you absolutely need an icon of that picture, I will gladly oblige. ;)
Oh, and if you have any preferences about your icons, please let me know. :)

11. Finally, I have some wallpapers to post. Well, actually only two. One is an old Grey's Anatomy one and one is a more recent Star Wars one that I made for the contest at
Padme's Wardrobe. If you are a Star Wars fan and you have the time, it would be awesome if you participated.

The Grey's Anatomy one was just made for my desktop, so it's nothing special.

P.P.S. I put up a new little info thing. Recently, I've been putting merely a 300x300 square with 9 of my icons (I've been feeling somewhat lazy recently)...I try to vary the subjects of the icons, but sometimes that can be tricky as many of my good icons may be of the same person or fandom. ;)

Sorry for taking so long to do an icon post! I've been making icons, I just always get this thing where I can't post icons until I have like 50. I know, I'm weird, I just put it off.

One more thing before I post the icons:
OMG. I LOVE LOST.
I finally got to see it for the first time because my sister got me both seasons last week. And I love it. Like times fifty. I know I'm just a tiny bit late on discovering this, but I don't have a TV at my house (don't ask me to explain...it'll take me awhile. But it has to do with my parents deciding against it.) and so I was never able to watch it before, but finally I got the seasons on DVD and I've been watching them constantly. It's really addicting and my dad is quite annoyed by how much I like it. Mostly because I watch a lot of it every day. ;)
So expect icons of that.
Oh, and I am a Jate shipper. Which is somewhat weird since almost all of the icons I see are of Skate. But alas, I cannot help myself. I will admit that Sawyer has a very cute smile though. And I don't really mind him and Kate together, they're cute together, but I prefer Jate. I'm not going to go bashing Skate fans or anything, I'm not that in to it. ;)

I was also looking at some layouts over at thefulcrum, but then I decided to use this one.

( I.D. badges are long overdue. Security in this office park is a joke. Last year, I came to work with my spud gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day, with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged? )

- Expect more Keane, celebrities, and The Office. I kinda got back into making Keane icons again. I sort of took a rest for October. ;)
- I LOVE THE OFFICE. Jim and Pam need to get together soon. And I believe that the next episode is called "Branch Closing." Maybe the Stamford branch will close and Jim will come back to Scranton!!! I know either Jenna Fischer or John Krasinski said that Jim is going to come back to Scranton at some point in the season. Maybe, just maybe it will be this next episode! OMG. It seems a bit early though...
- Nita, I've been listening to the Spinto Band a lot recently. I really, really, really like "Did I Tell You" and I've listened to it like 55 times. Which is quite a bit for me. But compared to Keane, it's pretty low. Like half of my Keane songs are past 100 plays, which again, is high for me. ;) I also like "Spy Vs. Spy," "Oh Mandy," "So Kind, Stacy," and "Direct To Helmet."
