Brokeback Mountain is a beautiful movie. I feel that it deserved every bit of praise it was given. If you haven't seen it, watch it for its quality as a film, at least. And if you have problems with the gay themes, that's hardly the point or message of the movie. I watched it as two people falling in love and didn't have a problem with it. If you watch it as "the gay cowboy movie," you'll ruin it for yourself. Watch it with an open mind and you'll appreciate it.

But anyways, I made very simplistic icons of the movie because I didn't want to mess with such beautiful caps. Hence the lack of textures, text, and brushes.

Also, I hope I did Heath justice in those icons. I'm kind of glad I took my time making these. I think it would have felt a little bit too rushed and clichéd if I had posted them the day or week after his death. And also, I was still working on them because I am a slow-poke when it comes to creating icons. I miss you Heath.

OMG!!! Icons!!! YAY!!
These are all amazing Miriam! Seriously, I love how each and every one is incredibly unique and different. Your use of textures is just so so so so cool, especially on the Angelina and Heath ones. And even though the Brokeback Mountain icons are simple, the colouring and cropping make them absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't possibly pick favourites from this batch cause they are all amazing! You are crazily talented :D

Thank you so much Claudia! I'm so glad you think a good job with the textures! I'm always scared that the icon looks boring or that I used the texture in an ugly way which is why I take forever on icons. ;) And I'm glad you approve of the Brokeback ones! I really value your comments so, thank you soooooo much! :D

Snagging the Wanted one. No matter how many ass-kicking roles Angelina takes on, it never gets old. I could watch Lara Croft and Mr. and Mrs. Smith every day and never grow bored.

seriously awesome icons!! The style and colouring is so unique and beautiful. Snagged at least one (if not many more) from each category and will of course credit when using.

oh and I am in total agreement... Angelina + ass-kicking role = damn good movie :D

Thanks Erica! :D I'm glad you like the style of the Brokeback icons! I kinda based them off of the King Kong icons that I made last year that were really simplistic as well. If you have good caps to work with it's hard to do anything but add a bit of contrast and fix up the cap. They're just too pretty to add textures and stuff to. :D

Awww...thank you! I'm glad you like the BBM icons! I really put a lot of effort into them even though they are really simple, so I'm glad to hear that you like them. :D
